Camp FAQ’s
What can my child expect at camp? What does a day look like?
SKILL OF THE DAY:
CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:
GAME OF THE DAY:
12:45-1:00 – Campers arrive
1:00-1:15 – Warm up and ice breaker activity
1:15-2:30 – Ninja Warrior obstacle training
2:30-2:45 – Snack break
2:45-3:30 – Ninja Warrior obstacle training

4:30-5:00 – Supervised open gym, cool down, discussion about the day's activities and what to expect the following day
5:00-5:10 – Campers picked up
Who will be instructing and supervising my child during each session?
We know that ninja training can be tiring and sometimes kids just need a break. We will have a staff member available at all times to provide other activities in a quiet environment. Activities such as board games, reading, or watching NBCs American Ninja Warrior or American Ninja Warrior Jr. can be done in our child care room (with an instructor).
What skill level is required to attend camp?
All skill levels are encouraged to sign up for camp, regardless if your child has never trained in a ninja warrior gym or if they are an expert kid ninja! Our instructor to camper ratio is very small and children will be working with an instructor at the appropriate skill level. The recommended age for potential campers is 6-13 years old.
My child is younger than 6 years old; is this something he or she can participate in? I’m certain he/she’d love it!
This is not a question of how athletic your child is, but more so how well they can focus and socialize in an athletic setting with other children. If you have a 5-year-old that you would like to register, please email us at info@novaninja.com to discuss this and recommendations will be given on a case by case basis. We cannot accommodate any children under the age of 5.

How do I register?
Go to https://novaninja.pike13.com/categories/87105 to register.
What if my child has to miss a day due to illness, injury, or some other circumstance out of our control?
No problem. Every day is different and due to the small number of allotted children per session, the ratio of camper to instructor is very low. We will help your child catch up on any skills covered in the day(s) missed.
Do you offer transportation services?
No, we do not offer transportation to or from the gym.
What should the campers bring? What do they wear?
Campers should bring 2 light snacks, a refillable water bottle, and a bag lunch or $5 for pizza provided by us (ordered from Dominos). Half -Day Campers should bring 1 snack and still have the option to purchase pizza for lunch or snack if they would like to. They should wear comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes (lace up shoes preferred)! Please, no open-toed shoes, sandals, or flip-flops. Tennis shoes, sneakers, and running shoes are appropriate. Make sure to send a backpack or bag to contain all of your campers personal belongings during the day while at camp. Personal belongings are allowed to be brought in with the understanding that NoVa Ninja is not responsible for any of these items. We encourage you to put your childs name on any jackets or water bottles brought to the facility. These are the items most frequently forgotten.
I would like to come see the gym before the summer camp starts; when can I do that?
You’re welcome to check out the gym in person! Send us an e-mail at info@novaninja.com to set up a time to come in.
What is your refund / cancellation policy?
Due to high demand for our camps, if you are unable to attend for any reason, we cannot issue refunds. We will make every effort to reschedule your child into a camp with available slots, but due to space and time constraints, we cannot guarantee that if you cancel a reservation, you will be able to make it into another camp. Last-minute cancellations not only mean that your child is unable to attend camp, but that someone else’s child is also unable to. As you can imagine, filling a vacant spot with little or no notice is impossible.
Can I come watch my kids while they are attending the Day Camp?
We understand that parents want to watch how their kids are doing, especially with a new sport such as Ninja Warrior! We will have a "Ninja Skills Showcase” session for the last hour each Friday of Camp. This will be a time campers can show their parent(s) their favorite obstacles and everything they have learned to do That week. If you are not able to attend this hour, don't worry...we will record your child (with permission if desired) showing off their skills and send you a link upon pick-up!
If you have any additional questions, please contact Joye Elsbury, General Manager, at Joye@novaninja.com or via phone at 571-526-4706.
